Search method

We search by full text indexing on servers of publicly funded German research institutions only. Listing of results can be selected by three modes:

  • search text: Results are given as a list of ranked documents (default, common searchengine mode).
  • search dissertations: search only within the dissertations of Deutsche Bibliothek.

How to add a server/URL/homepage?

Very simple: You do not have to! Our Crawler will come automatically to your server if it is a member of the scientific research sites defined next.

Which sites will our crawler go to?

This search engine will collect the "Servers of German Research Maps" only. These are those servers which are selected by BMBF and listed within the German Research Maps. You might check at Forschungslandschaft which these servers are.
